The room was nice. Bathroom a bit small; elevators noisy but well worth it for the charm of the building if you like history.
Liked: It's antiquity and location.
Disliked: The cost of in room water.

Liked: Everything!The hotel staff were outstanding and went out of their way to be welcoming and kind to this lone senior biddy..A grand dame for sure but comfortable and simple. Room basic and bed very comfortable.Location perfect for whatever your needs were in this great city and close enough to the highway for a quick get away.All in all a great experience for one night in the city.
Disliked: The hotel needs updating which I'm told is on the books for a big renovation of the lobby and guest rooms.

Enjoyed the city but will...
Liked: We enjoyed all of the history and food. It was beautiful to be there at Christmas. The door staff and desk staff were vey nice.
Disliked: The hotel is old but needs more attention to detail. It really needs to be updated for the cost. The curtains were old and dusty, the carpets need to be cleaned, the tv's are old and you can not connect your phones. One of the hostess at the bar was RUDE and we never went back because she was there every time we went down. However, the the bar Beantown around the corner was excellent!

Liked: The location.
Disliked: I wish I knew there were 3 weddings that night. Aldi, the bars closed very early. . As a select guest member I am used to better service. Full coffee service for free in the morning isn’t a lot to expect . I usually get something upon arrival there was nothing. I was told to go to Starbucks for coffee?I’ve stayed in a lot of Omni hotels this was a first. In SF they actually refilled the coffee with hot coffee because they said it had been out for an hour. The front desk staff at checkout and check in were amazing.
