Omni Resort is not great
Liked: Location
Disliked: Inadequate amenities given the price tag. With over $1,000 per night. Amenities and room size and other amenities are far below expectations. Besides, food was not great. Parking should be with no charge. Breakfast should be free of charge like all other similar resorts across the country.

Underwhelming
Liked: The Spa 100% 10/10 the staff (all) were really good and receptive. The treatments were top notch. Worth the price for sure.
Disliked: Paid premium only to be rather disappointed. Room felt old, looked old, no updates to justify the rate, very underwhelming. Certainly doesn't match the cost per night... My room was dusty (the kind of dust mites you get w/o a cleaning for months on end) and had an unkempt feel to it. Tbh, I called and they had 2 lovely ladies come and do some cleaning. But, for real, have stayed at similarly priced hotel spaces that scream luxury...these ones don't. The grounds, however, are beautiful. The verandar, just mwaah. The service staff were all good and accomodating. Not sure I'd spend money coming back here. Maybe for a day trip, enjoy the scenery and then vamoose.

Bucket List Stay!
Liked: I echo all of the positive reviews - this is an incredible property that absolutely took our breath away! There were so many little things that really stood out to me. The property is so old and so much of it is original, but it didn't feel like we had to make any exceptions for its age. For example, the water pressure was great in the shower. You'd expect the walls to be paper thin, but we couldn't hear the screaming kids in the room next to us (that we could hear from the hallway before we stepped into our room. There were no critters or bugs anywhere. The property is immaculately maintained but you didn't hear a lawn mower or a leaf blower once. They've really thought things through to make this a great experience. Did we watch guests get treated better than us because they looked like they might have money? Absolutely. But we'll still come back (just maybe in some Vineyard Vines).
Disliked: They do try to nickel and dime you a bit - $35 for breakfast buffet, $20/day to self-park a mile away (or $35/day for valet), etc etc. Nature of the beast. The one other thing that bugged me - no fitted sheets! Flat sheets only! Not sure if it was just a bad laundry day or what but what is up with that. Paid $400 a night for the sheets to bunch up on me all night every night.

Stay elsewhere in North Conway,...
Liked: Iconic resort destination rich in American history and reminiscent of The Shining. The period architecture and style were stunning, along with the expansive grounds and activities.
Disliked: Other than Nick and Diana, the super bell hop and housekeep extraordinaire, the rest of the staff were curt and rude. From the front desk to the 1902 restaurant, the staff were a bummer. For the price point, the hotel is in need of major upgrades : outdated decor, uncomfortable beds, and no room amenities as coffee maker or a mini fridge. The bathtub was clogged.
