In general I liked my stay at this Omni and plan to return.

Liked: Cleanliness; staff friendliness; bar.
Disliked: Cost of parking car.

We decided to upgrade to the Club floors and it was well worth it. They offered free wine etc. and appetizers every night and a nice breakfast in the morning. Sunday, the hostess at the Club in the evenings made dinner reservations for us and had the bakery send me a birthday treat.

Liked: Location and room comfort; friendliness of staff.
Disliked: Price of parking; TV reception in Club Lounge.

The outside staff with getting...

Liked: 8th Floor, View was good. Beds were very nice. Bathroom shower and area's around baseboards and shower area needs cleaned with mold and mildew cleaners....it is a real shame when you spend 70.00 for breakfast and have to deal with mold prior to that! The carpets in the rooms needed cleaning as well. The price for the food, even though we really have no big complaints on the food, especially breakfast, bar food was OK, but meals in bar could have had better choices for the money spent. The glasses in our room were not replaced once. We used the same glasses for 3 days. I tried to find a maid in the halls, found carts, but no maids....only once did we see one and ask for washcloths only that day. Forgot about glasses until later in the day. Didn't use them much, but it would have been nice. Hate to run downstairs just for glasses, we rinsed them out and used the same ones three days.
Disliked: Said all I needed above.

Very memorable stay and great...

Liked: The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Soundproofing was excellent and we appreciated that there was a window to open. The hotel is in a wonderful location and we found enough to do on foot in addition to attending a concert at the Walt Disney Concert Hall just down the street. All of the staff we encountered were very professional and there seemed to be a great camaraderie amongst them.
Disliked: We encountered a credit card snag upon checkin when my Capital One Mastercard could not be authorized. Fortunately I had a business Visa but even then there seemed to be confusion as to whether it had been authorized. The guest agent said the couple prior to us had the same issue. When checking out I tried using the Mastercard again but it could not be authorized. I had to use the ATM in the lobby to withdraw cash from my Mastercard in increments of $200 each time which was slightly embarrassing. Capital One said there should have been no issue since the hotel accepted Mastercard and it was likely their payment processor / machine. There should have been some follow up on the part of the hotel if mine was not the first instance.
