Omni Las Colinas Hotel

Loved it; affordable; valet service; people to help with your bags and hold doors open for you and the hotel itself is amazing! The view from my room, to the bar, and restaurant. They even have rentals to take out on the water if you're looking to do something with the family. I will be back!

I could have spent less money and been better satisfied. With this being what I thought, an upscale hotel, we could hear noises from the room beside us. I was disappointed that I made a reservation for a king size bed and was told they only had queen beds, when I arrived - isn't that part of why you make a reservation?

Liked: The hotel had a nice lobby and nice style. The valet service was excellent.
Disliked: Reserved a king and they gave us two queen size beds - very disappointing

Beautiful suite

Liked: The room (Corner Suite) was very nice and spacious. The entrance to the room had a long hallway that led to a living space with a couch with ottoman, TV, desk with chair, and a small dining table with 2 chairs. The bathroom was nice (walk-in shower, and there was an area with a stool and lots of countertop space. The bed was comfy and had another TV in the corner. There were multiple lamps throughout, and the window was very large with a great view (I was on the 27th floor - I requested a higher floor in advance).It's a beautiful hotel. I'll definitely book again in the future and recommend to others.
Disliked: It was an overall great room, but the temperature of the water in the shower was sooo cold; it never warmed up. I was miserable for those few minutes.

Liked: Clean, modern, designed rooms. There's a cafe inside the hotel and a beautiful lake to walk around. Dining options are in walking distance of the hotel.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay....

Liked: The location info the hotel is perfect. Being able to walk around lake Carolyn was nice and it is in walking distance to restaurants. We also enjoyed the fire pits, year round heated pool, and yard activities. I loved that we were able to text any requests to the hotel staff and they acted quickly.
Disliked: I didn’t know before I booked that the pool bar was closed for the season. It would have been great not to have to walk inside for food and drinks. The room was nice, but we had trouble sleeping due to the softness of the pillows. They would literally go flat. The shower appeared as if it wasn’t cleaned properly. There was white residue between the tiles, especially near the drain. As for the hotel’s restaurants, The Flossies breakfast buffet was decent, but we got food to go from LRH to eat at the pool, and it was not great. The flatbread lacked flavor and the chicken wings seamed as if they came in frozen, cooked and left in a warmer until someone ordered them.
