Awesome place: Just expect a...
Liked: Rooms were clean, beds and pillows and layout were great, workout area is great, location is awesome.
Disliked: Expectations management. The first room we were put in was next to the elevator shaft. Felt like a low level earthquake rumble every 5 min. That was a "10" room number. Then put in an "01" room.... the nonstop sirens and ambulances even on the 21'st floor were ungodly. Unsure if it's the poor insulation on the windows or building location, but I've never had it this bad at the Doubletree or other hotels on the east side of Michigan Ave.

Great times amazing food even...
Liked: It was very clean very fancy everyone was super friendly and more than helpful! We had issues with valet because of their new system but the staff was there to help as much as possible and got the situation resolved. Amazing food at the hotel restaurant with the best breakfast i have ever had.
Disliked: Only thing was the location of the main entrance was difficult to get to because of the city being so busy.

Wonderful Service
Liked: Stayed at Omni for my birthday weekend. Great location, well appointed rooms (ours had an AMAZING view), but it was the staff that really made the entire experience exceptional. FD staff member Omar went above and beyond to make our stay extra magical. Any time we passed the front desk, Nate and/or Omar warmly greeted us and asked how our stay was going. I appreciated the warm and genuine service.

Liked: The location was perfect and it was good value for money.
Disliked: It was highlighted that kids under 10 eat for free, but turns out it was only from he kids menu.

Nice to have a suite...
Liked: Location was good.
Disliked: It’s a nuisance to enter and leave every time, as you must take two elevators - one from the street to the third floor, then transfer to another elevator bank to get to your room. The room was very dated and beat up. Everything needs a fresh coat of paint. The room was also gross, with food under the couch, hairs in the shower, stains on the door, etc. Also, animal rights protestors regularly gather outside with megaphones; we could hear them even in our 16th floor room.
