Omni Charlottesville Hotel

Liked: Incredibly friendly staff. Very nice hotel. Wonderful location.

It was New Year's Eve. We let the Valet park our large, awkward Dually pick up truck for us and were greeted warmly by front desk staff. Our room was pleasant and clean. It had a mini fridge and comfortable bed with nice linens and a comforter, with a view of the indoor atrium area. The atmosphere was festive. The walk to our concert was too short (!) (less than 5 minutes to the Jefferson Theatre, an awesome concert venue for an unforgettable Jason Isbell concert - check him out!), because we were enjoying the lovely Pedestrian Mall shops and holiday atmosphere. A restful night. Friendly valet brought our truck around promptly, and we were on our way home. Excellent hotel, had a great time!

Disliked: The indoor pool was extremely small and not that clean, the outdoor pool also looked very small. The night club outside the hotel kept us up til two in the morning. So make sure you ask for a room not facing the street.
