General pleasant and relaxing stay.

Liked: We like the location and the general area. Good selection of restaurants on site.
Disliked: Staff could be more friendly. We found arrival staff less than personable. Beau a bell person was condescending. Furniture in the room need updating, Nightly bonfire smoke was unpleasant when searing on the porch. Not sure why bonfires are necessary when the temps were in the mid-90s.

Stunning oasis of calm and...

Liked: Absolutely stunning hotel, steeped in history and wonderfully maintained. Luxurious without being pretentious and very welcoming. Grounds are beautifully kept with incredible views. The spa was divine.
Disliked: Some of the restaurants were closed on the day we were there leaving menu choices elsewhere somewhat limiting.
