Pleasant
Liked: Not terrible, but not a place I would want to re-visit.
Disliked: Upon arrival, I was informed that my room would be provided by a different hotel located further down the street, which meant I had to get back in the car and drive there. It would have been much better to receive this information in advance, so that I could have gone directly to the correct location instead of driving back and forth late at night after an already exhausting journey from Brussels. Furthermore, the parking place is not free but there is an additional fee for it.

Great spot to explore central...
Liked: The staff here are super friendly, and let’s face it, the location is ideal - a short walk to the 2 and 3 tram stop and from there a short tram right into the heart of Zurich.
Disliked: The basic room rates are fabulous given how centrally located the hotel is. However, the additions (32CHF/night for parking and 25CHF/night for a dog to stay) ruins the value for money of the hotel.

The worst hotel experience of...
Disliked: #1. I stayed in May 2025.#2. When I arrived, I was informed that there was a security deposit "hold" of CHF 50 a night (around €54). This is mentioned on the hotel's Booking.com page, but only in the small print section, which is very strange and sketchy. This is why so many people are not aware of it when they arrive.#3. Three months later and I still haven't received my security deposit of CHF 150 / €162. I have asked the hotel for proof of payment and refund, and they are ignoring all my emails. I have never seen so much unprofessionalism before.The funny thing is this:#1. For the hotel stay, my card was definitely charged.#2. For the security deposit "hold", my card was either charged and not refunded, or it was never charged at all (i.e. it was a pre-authorised payment that would be charged in case of damage).#3. The term "hold" is not commonly used in Europe. So, if it is a pre-authorised payment, then the hotel simply has to use this different language. Instead, they don't, which causes so much unnecessary confusion.#4. To top things off, they also don't respond to emails asking for clarification (this is the part that I find extremely unethical and unprofessional). Awful hotel. Don't stay here. It's not worth it.
