Olympia Hotel Zurich

Excellent room and great location.

Liked: In reception there was a Armenian guy..really helpful.
Disliked: Water clogged basin.Water spilling off during bathing Phone doesn't work.Serbian Reception lady was full of attitude..I was feeling down how she was showing her passive aggressiveness.Booking.com, I will write a review on them how they prescribe the customer the worst hotels.

Decent hotel for a short...

Liked: Friendly staff , not too far from public transport to get you to all the beautiful locations of Switzerland. Good for a short stay.
Disliked: Bed was a bit hard but nothing too awful. Cleaning crew still didn’t have our room clean by 3pm check in time, so we had to switch rooms.

Cheap but bad (and noisy!)

Liked: Overall clean rooms and nice reception staff
Disliked: - Extremely noisy: walls are so thin you can hear neighbors sneezing. But the worst, is that cleaners start vacuuming and banging around from around 8:00 AM, loudly enough to wake up guests. This is just bad hospitality and shows a huge lack of care for the guest experience, especially in a city with high standards like Zurich. And honestly, it hints that the hotel is trying to rush turnover rather than respecting guests' comfort.- The rooms themselves are tiny, with low ceilings, very claustrophobic and extremely "minimal". It honestly feels more like a prison cell than a hotel room. - There is a persistent bad smell both in the room and in the ensuite bathroom that made the experience even more unpleasant.- What they advertise as double beds are actually 2 single beds placed next to each other, not even fixed or joined by a topper. Pretty uncomfortable.- the 100 CHF security deposit they require (even if you paid the whole stay in advance) is hard to be justified, considering the condition of the rooms and all the above.

Ok hotel for one night

Liked: Public transport and supermarket very close to the hotel
Disliked: Very small room, the sink is in the room not in the toilet. No kettle or minibar in the room.
