Yes I would stay again...

Liked: The property was very spacious and quiet rooms are lovely and big and the bed was amazing. Having to be able to sleep with the door open onto the small balcony was really lovely .
Disliked: It needs a good painting all over The decor was outdated spongy wallpaper painted very badly . Dust on floors behind chairs and table cobwebs on aircon above bed . No glasses in room, and only 1 normal coffee the rest was all decaf . 1 pack of 3 biscuits between 2 adults . Old fashioned bulky bath a shower tap and black scale in the toilet. Black sealer in corners of tiles around bath .

Good

Liked: Large room, hot water and good water pressure, air conditioning. Staff were very nice
Disliked: A cooked breakfast was £5 extra each morning. Although the hotel advertised free breakfast, didn’t say this was just a continental breakfast. Awful instant coffee in coffee urn - though I realise this is a personal choice, why not filter coffee?

Staff were great accommodation very...

Liked: The location was ideal. The breakfast was basic with the option to upgrade to a cooked breakfast for £5. The staff were welcoming and friendly?
Disliked: The hotel was tired and dated. General cleanliness of my room was quite poor. The splash back behind the sink was marked with previous occupants toothpaste splashes. I was able to wipe them off with a tissue. The shower floor was yellowing. The floor throughout the room was dusty and marked. The carpets throughout the communal areas were worn and marked.

A good budget hotel in...

Liked: The location, the size of the room, the bed the lady serving breakfast.
Disliked: I stayed in a maisonette-like room in a heat wave. The room had french doors, but no window, which I felt I could not leave open so the room was hot n stuffy. It is also cheaply furnished.. but it is a budget hotel.Breakfast was passable, but the chef microwaves 'fried' eggs. They did get me GF bread for breakfast, so I am very grateful for that.

Adequate for a one night...

Liked: Easy to find parking space, main room was clean and had a balcony.
Disliked: firstly the key cards didn't work because the programming machine isn't working. This meant the staff had to let you in to your room each time or you had to leave it unlocked - ie with the door slightly open. The hotel was booked with breakfast included but it transpires this is only cereals and toast. A cooked breakfast costs an extra £5. I opted for the cooked breakfast only to be disappointed at the miniscule portions, 1 small sausage, a half rasher of bacon, a congealed egg which was cold, a small slice of black pudding which was ok, four small mushrooms and a tablespoon of tinned tomatoes. I had dinner in the evening which was acceptable, you can't go wrong with bangers and mash. However, I was waiting about 20 minutes to order as there were no staff in sight anywhere ! I have already said the room was clean but the shower tray was partly covered in a grey greasy film !
