Relaxing, Cozy and Great Hospitality.

Liked: Great location, comfy bed and great views. The property is very large and full of greenery, nice for little kids to explore without actually going out that day. Kathy and Wally are very hospitable and welcoming.
Disliked: I'd appreciate a variety of knives. We ended up cooking a little bit during our stay and using the BBQ, but we could only use the provided serrated knife, which isn't ideal for some vegetables. A small detail for an otherwise great stay.

Liked: We thought the location was great, as we could walk into Olinda. The bathroom with heated floors was awesome, Kathy was such a great host. The room was a great size and very peaceful location, with lovely views from the gardens.

Liked: Very comfortable and homely retreat, we would lov tol go again.

Super friendly and comfortable

Liked: Our hosts were extremely friendly and obliging. They made sure we had absolutely everything we wanted and spent time chatting to us on a daily basis. Kathy provided heaps of breakfast food and helped us with the log fire - even lit it before we came home one evening.
Disliked: We used the family unit because we need separate beds, and this is in the old building and a tiny bit ramshackle. Plenty of comfort and character though, and it would be super for families. There are games, toys and books galore.

Liked: Cosy, comfortable and really great location! The grounds are lush and the hosts are so lovely!

Homely, warm accomodation in period...

Liked: Relaxed, warm fire, great location, friendly and accessible hosts.
Disliked: Messy entrance to accomodation, leaves not swept away from doorway, old flywire still on door in wintertime. Cold bathroom.
