Mixed experience

Liked: The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was comfortable, bed was good and shower also worked well.
Disliked: Unfortunately, sounds from neighbouring rooms are easily heard. We were woken at 6.10am by lively conversation from a room on one side and at 4.50am by conversation from another on the second morning. Also bedroom doors banging. I think some clients need to get up and leave early for work. This is understandable, but was not exactly what we were expecting.

Superb

Liked: We had travelled up from North Cornwall for a family funeral the following day. We were made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. Room was large and comfortable. We had an evening meal plus breakfast the following morning, both lovely and value for money. Would definitely stay again if we happen to be that way visiting family.
Disliked: If i was going to be picky, the towel rail in the bathroom was just a tad too big or too close to the loo for comfort.

Great value

Liked: Very comfortable bed and nice bathroom
Disliked: It was a very hot day and the window would only open a little so it was very hot during the night.A fan was provided but it would have been better to also have an open window

Liked: Room good size. Plenty of hot water. Continental breakfast sufficient.
Disliked: Only ate in restaurant once - pie had dried out as under hot lamp too long.
