Liked: The staff were exceptional, friendly, helpful, and efficient. The bar area was comfortable and inviting. Reception staff were very professional and helpful. The reception area was very welcoming. Food is excellent, both breakfast and evening meal. The suite i had was lovely too having everything you need to make my stay very pleasant and relaxing.Overall an exceptional hotel
Disliked: The heating in the suite was very hit and miss. The radiator in the living room barely came on, so the room got quite cold at times. The bedroom lost all heat when the curtains were closed due to the radiator being very small and underneath the window. It lost a lot of heat through the window, due to it not being double glazed.The bed was not very comfortable for me so i didn't sleep too well, but i realise that is a personal thing for every individual

Nice place to stay and...

Liked: Well situated and clean. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was nice.
Disliked: You can hear the noise from neighbouring room and unfortunately someone was very ill throughout the night so it was difficult to sleep. We really enjoyed our breakfast in bed but we weren’t given a separate form for the second evening and the didn’t take our attempt to use the same one. Fresh water for the second night would have been appreciated.

Liked: Room was clean and bed was comfortable. It was no 135 and was over a compressor or something in the kitchen. This was tolerable for 1 night but I would have asked to move if I was there for longer.The meal in the evening was great value for money - no complaintsThe breakfast was really good.
Disliked: Noisy compressor under room

Liked: It has “ something special about it “ , the Agatha Christie story adds something special to that character of the hotel
