Warm, genuinely friendly organised hotel....

Liked: All the staff we encountered (6 of them) were genuinely friendly and attentive.All of them spoke to us before we spoke. They all appeared happy in their work. We had breakfast and it was so organised, we had coffee, tea and juice straight away, we then ordered what we wanted. The quality of the food was really good, professionally presented, even my croissant had been warmed in a proper oven, not put in a microwave!The dining room was lovely and the fixtures and fittings suited the building.Staff looked clean, well presented and organised. They worked at a speed needed for their environment. The hotel was full so the small team needed to work fast and efficiently.Our room was very cosy and the bed comfortable and we both slept well.The bathroom was dated but it was very clean. We would happily stay here again.

Liked: From the moment we arrived till the moment we left we were made to feel welcome and that nothing was a problem. The breakfast was wonderful and freshly cooked. The room comfortable and spacious. The building has lots of character - highly recommend. Although no evening meals are offered the range of sandwiches and snacks are more than adequate.Special thanks to Natalie - she worked really hard, with a constant smile and is obviously a credit to the Hotel
