Why Concert-goers love it

Concert-goers appreciate Old National Hotel for its central location in Bath and close proximity to live music destinations like Corning and Hammondsport. While not directly next to venues, it's within a 30-minute drive of several popular spots, making it a practical base for regional shows. The 24-hour front desk is a plus for late-night arrivals, and check-in starts at 5:00 PM, giving plenty of time to settle in before a concert.

Areas for Improvement

The hotel is older, so some rooms may feel a bit dated, and the check-in starts later than average (5:00 PM). It’s also a bit of a drive to major concert venues, so having a car is helpful. That said, it delivers on comfort and convenience for the price.

The Bottom Line

Old National Hotel is a no-fuss, budget-friendly choice for concert-goers looking to explore the Finger Lakes music and arts scene without breaking the bank.

Bad

Liked: We thought that it may be a quaint old hotel. We were wrong!
Disliked: The one and only staff person was very rude. The place was filthy and the registration desk smelled of urine! We had paid in advance, when we saw and smelled our room, we just left and didn't ask for our money back.

One of the Worst Hotel...

Liked: Location is good.
Disliked: If you're traveling with family, avoid this place at all costs. The moment we walked in, we were hit with a horrible smell, mostly of stale smoke, even though we booked a non-smoking room. The carpet felt like it hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks, and the bathroom was dirty and poorly maintained. On top of that, there was no Wi-Fi, which was incredibly frustrating. Honestly, I still can't forget the awful smell of the entire place — it stayed with us even after we left. This was a huge disappointment and absolutely not worth the money. Stay somewhere else if you value cleanliness and comfort.

Liked: Decent price. Good location.
Disliked: Lack of parking. No restaurant and bar as advertised. They were there, but not open.

Pay the extra money to...

Liked: Not a thing, besides the refund he gave us. We ended up not staying there.
Disliked: When we walked in we had to find the owner. There were no signs on where to go. We finally found the owner in the bar area. The bar had table filled with random things, such as a broken lamp, snacks, a peach. When we got to our hotel door it looked like someone had knocked the lock out at some point. When we got in the top cover had stains all over it. We pulled off the cover the sheet wasn't much better. The floor didn't look like it had been vacuumed

Disgusting!

Liked: I liked that it was old timey. But it was also filthy.
Disliked: Shady people hanging around building. The place stank! Was dark and dingy. Needed more toilet paper for room. Couldn’t find anyone, so took it from bathroom in bar area.
