Liked: This place was pretty run down and a little sketchy. It smelled like a foreign country decent hotel. The front desk guy was nice and quickly came and changed the sheets for our bed when we looked and they were dirty. Even a washcloth had a hair in it. That was so disgusting.The pool is closed "for maintenence" no matter what the pictures on line say. The breakfast was good. And, while im pretty sure the other people there lived at the hotel, they were super sweet and fun to talk to.
Disliked: The room had dirty sheets and washcloth. The whole hotel smelled off. The pool was closed.

Disliked: They need to get better A/C units. The room was hot

Unpleasant experience

Liked: We didn't have breakfast. Breakfast ended at 9 am and we didn't come downstairs until 9:14am. We weren't informed where or what time Breakfast was upon arrival. The desk manager kept emphasizing the $100 deposit. We were told "I'll return the $100 deposit of you don't smoke and tear up my property. He said it rudely. I wish I'd gone to Hampton Inn our usual spot where we are silver members. I won't be returning. I'll spend my money where I feel welcomed.

Definitely not a 4 star...

Liked: Upgraded us to a room with a whirlpool
Disliked: The ac was not on - the room was over 90 degrees - it had barely cooled by the third morning even with it set at 60. We had a broken toilet seat but did not get it resolved as staff barely spoke English and didn't understand.

Liked: The price
Disliked: Pool closed, elevator out of date safety inspection. Carpet dirty, tv didn’t work ,parking area poorly lit, landscaping un keep. Mold in bathroom

Disliked: Web pictures of the facillity appeared to be 10 years of more out of date, walked into the building and terrible stench of old invasive chlorine hit you in the face, they wanted $20 to drop off luggage before check-in time. This was to be a nice night for my wife's birthday! Tried for 45 minutes to contact booking.com, finally found a number to call (NOT trough their website and got an AI, could not get through to a person until I gave a PIN number (which I did not have, even though I had brought all the the emails I received from booking .com) left and went to a Marriotte Suite and had a lovely stay. Not using booking.com unless by accident.
