Disappointed

Liked: the setting was good
Disliked: They had no chef and we where not informed untill two days before our booking FOOD WAS OF THE MENU.

Would recommend

Liked: Staff and food excellent
Disliked: Room was very hot, but it was a heatwave!

Liked: Location
Disliked: Difficult parking, very small rooms, no ac so therefore very hot. Bathroom needed better organisation ie bath towels too far away from shower, no shelf in shower for toiletries , unnecessarily large sink unit in bathroom. Breakfast choice was mediocre with no hot choice option

Disappointing

Liked: The location had good scenic beauty and the water turbine, sheep's grazing in the valley, all are beautiful. The staff were good and friendly. The restaurant food was really good.
Disliked: The breakfast was not good at all with very less choices and no hot food available. The chef was really good. the food in the restaurant was good and so I expected the breakfast to be good but it was very pale. There was no AC which was a killer in the hot weather. The common area and restaurant had AC so why not in the rooms? There were no toiletries in the bathroom as well.

Liked: Our room was a good size and nicely decorated and provisioned. It was all very comfortable.
Disliked: It's a little difficult to find and access. We were not aware it was at the end of a toll bridge with a very tight hairpin bend into the property - we had to go past and find a place to turn around to come back to the property, and the car park was a squeeze to get into. We were only booked in for one night and decided to stay in and dine there rather than go into the city for the evening because of the difficult vehicle access.

Liked: Its location and its setting
Disliked: No air conditioning in the bedroom, it’s far too hot and no WiFi connection or wardrobe to hang clothes also no cooked breakfast and was not stated when booking that it was continental breakfast.
