Exceptional

Liked: Gorgeous little hotel in perfect distance for an event we had. When we arrived the car park was full due to a private party they were holding. A very nice man who checked us in kindly moved his car so we could park ours as we were not driving to the event and would have already left before the party had finished. Such a simple act of kindness and was so appreciated. The room was lovely. We will definitely be using again in the not so distant future.

Exceptional room facitilites and staff...

Liked: Hotel was so beautiful and in a prime location for what we needed. The new rooms are so spacious and so clean and have everythign you require. But the staff really make this hotel, so so friendly and obliging.Will definetely return here.
Disliked: absolutely nothing

Liked: Good location, excellent breakfast, very friendly staff, good off-street parking
Disliked: I know it was a last minute booking ( about the week before arrival date ) but the room in which was allocated to us just wasn't ideal , it was far too small and the bed just wasn't big enough for the two of us . As we are both in our seventies and my husband is disabled I found climbing in from the bottom not easy as the bed was right up against the wall . Once in bed I had to climb out again to turn off light , the lamp being on the other side of the room.i did request a ground floor with a shower , which is what we got , but again the shower wasn't easy to get out off as the floor was on different levels . Didn't have a good night .

Liked: Bed was really comfy, good cute space and everything we needed in the room
Disliked: Bathroom smelt bad when I arrived and breakfast wasn’t nice

power issues rather spoilt it...

Liked: VG breakfast and vg Staff
Disliked: Unfortunately the power to one side of the romm did not work so there was no kettle, tv or light working. I checked in quite late so staff had gone home before i could report it.

Liked: Lovely building and garden, pleasant staff who helped us store our bags before check-in. Rooms fine for what we needed. Breakfast was great.
Disliked: Rooms were quite dated, especially the bathroom.
