Disliked: Breakfast wasn't good value

4th time at the colonial.

Liked: Our 4th time this year the rooms are nice and clean bed compy and good location.
Disliked: Only disappointment was the Sunday roast we had to send it back because it was cold and when it came back it was not much better, and the beef was what I call processed and not real beef.

Exceptional

Liked: Friendly helpful staff who made sure our stay was excellent and town was brilliant
Disliked: Weather, but nothing you do about that

Get what you pay for

Liked: Family room with sea view was very spacious, warm and very comfy. Hotel/room/ pub was immaculately clean. Good value for money.
Disliked: No lift to rooms. Thats the only downfall.

Liked: Bed very comfortable.Room was decent size.Slept very well.Free and secure parking was great.
Disliked: Shower did not work properly.Thought breakfast would be included in the price.

Nice hosts but need to...

Liked: The staff were friendly. The bed was of a good size
Disliked: The hotel is in need of a total renovation. The balcony outside our sea view was full of cigarette butts and litter. The breakfast we wanted was not available. We went to another establishment. No PAT testing had been undertaken confirmed by checking of the labels on the electrical equipment. Bathroom very dated and dirty.

Liked: The location was great, room very large and comfortable the bed was a great size bonus black out curtains, would recommend the breakfast.
Disliked: Lick of paint on the outside.
