Liked: Decor was lovely .Great room .Very cosy
Disliked: The quality of the evening dinner was really awful .So surprised. I can't think of a worst hotel meal for a long time.The starter was ridiculous .One flake of mackerel on a small lettuce leaf with a white dressing .I was told fresh and smoked mackerel but no .Main course ,poached cod .So awful .Luke warm .not cooked properly tasteless and asked for broccoli which was lukewarm and horrible .Get the chef to look at Ric Steins book on cooking fish ..Consequently we ate elsewhere on the following nights .Didn't dare risk it

Liked: The hotel is gorgeous, the design is amazing. The staff were friendly and professional. The room was clean and spacious, it was a wonderful stay. The food in the restaurant was also very good

Liked: Lovely old character property which had been beautifully restored & decorated throughout. Wonderful rooms, great food & very friendly .
