Convenient hotel near major train...

Liked: The rooms had most of the basic comforts you expect in a hotel. The availability of the Club lounge 24/7 was very convenient.
Disliked: The restroom for the toilet is VERY smal, smaller than an airplane restroom. There was a nasty smell coming from the shower, but it went away after we ran the water for a while. The location is convenient between the two major stations, but arriving late in the evening is a bit daunting in this neighborhood.

Liked: The location only.
Disliked: I stayed two nights. The first night, my shower flooded as the drain was blocked by hair. It flowed out into the room. I had to change rooms. On the second night, the water stopped while I was under the shower. Reception advised me it would be flowing again in minutes. So I waited cold and with soap in my hair. Fortunately it came back on. I spoke to reception, but no compensation was offered for the fact that I couldn't have a decent shower on both nights. They just smiled at me then sent me lame emails. But the thing is - they took a considerable amount of money from me for a service they did not provide.

Great hotel near Gare du...

Liked: Super friendly staff, clean facilities, sustainably designed service, quiet atmosphere, very close to Gare du Nord
Disliked: Not something to dislike, but more of an FYI that there's no fridge in the hotel room and there's no room service.

Will stay again for sure...

Liked: The location right beside the gare de l’Est was so convenient for my travel in and out of Paris. There is plenty of designated space to work from the hotel with plenty of plugs and tea/coffee available for free. The room was clean and comfortable. The location beside the hotel (literally looking onto the tracks) was no problem, I was worried about that but it was perfect.
Disliked: The rooms are very stuffy even with the AC on. The rooms are small but manageable.

No air con - very...

Liked: Great hotel and great staff
Disliked: No Air Con! I stayed for the Paris Marathon and the room was like a sauna, no windows are allowed to be open and the fans are not switched on during the ‘Winter’? The most important part about a stay is how you sleep, and I think I combined 4 hours sleep across 2 nights with how uncomfortably hot the room was.
