Scenic location in Ojai

Liked: Ample parking. Great, scenic and quiet location. Nice breakfast selection.
Disliked: Room a little dated.

Disappointing

Amazing find! Would definitely stay...

Liked: We had amazing valley views from the hilltop. I loved the peace and quiet, the walking trails and many viewpoints. The breakfast was fantastic. Wish we had stayed longer than one night to enjoy the private patio and room.

Won't return.

Liked: I thought the breakfast was little more than a variety of Continental options. Very little protein options. Not sufficient to address my personal medical concerns, so we had to go get additional breakfast.
Disliked: Experience was underwhelming considering the value expected from the website descriptions and price charged for the accommodations. While plantings were nice, they were not extensive, and didn't look like they'd received recent tending.

Good place to get away...

Liked: Very tranquil and quiet as a retreat should be. I thought the breakfast was excellent.

No stay- no promise of...

Liked: I did not go there. I reserved the room for my friend David and his Uber driver friend, Steven, who brings him all the way from Escondido. David used to live in Ojai but had to move to his brother’s and REALLY misses his life in Ojai.
Disliked: Steven complained that the room was too small and smelled musty and mildewed and was not very clean. He said if they had to stay there he would rather go back home to Escondido. They needed a tv to watch DVD’s which I did not realize because I thought they watched movies on a laptop. I had failed to tell them there were no tv’s in the rooms because I did not realize they needed a tv. I did not realize that David brings a portable DVD player to plug into tv’s to watch DVD’s. So I paid for them to stay at Oak Ridge where they stayed on their last trip .
