Complaints were handled in a good manner; no free breakfast but free parking; overall, it was okay but the heat situation which caused very disrupted sleep made it disappointing. Remodel is "in the works" according to morning clerk.

Liked: $20 restaurant gift card due to heat. Free hot chocolate. Free, first come, first served parking. Great location.
Disliked: The room heat was all controlled by the front desk which we had adjusted upon check in to 70 degrees, but after returning for the night the room temperature was 76 and we had to call for an adjustment again. I woke up several times throughout the night because it still stayed hot. The clerk apologized in the morning and gave us a $20 restaurant gift card.

Fabulous Short Stay in Exciting...

Liked: The accommodation was well appointed for a short stay, and the staff were wonderful. Whenever there were any questions, they were very happy to reply in a very short turnaround time. The motel itself is very convenient with located, and for those who have cars there is parking. We found it easy to walk to many locations, including public transit. It was a great day! Thanks to Hector and all the other wonderful staff that helped us on our stay!
Disliked: Not necessarily a dislike, but we found the air-conditioning a bit too cool. But the staff were very happy to accommodate us and adjust the settings. All in all, some people may prefer the cooler settings.

Liked: The room was clean and pleasant
Disliked: The noise was bad, we had just come off a long haul flight, so we were pretty tired. Yet got little sleep due to what sounded like drag racing taking place outside throughout the night, mixed in with a good amount of emergency service sirens going off. Certainly wouldn't recommend it if you need to get a good sleep. Also it was disappointing to be additionally charged for parking circa $45+ for a night, when it's described as a Motel! Motels are expected to have parking! I appreciate that most hotels in Chicago do charge extra for parking but in this instance it's not clear on booking, therefore making it a misrepresented price.

Nice place for a good...

Liked: Nice motel for a good price, 20 min walk to most attractions, close to shops and restaurants. All you need for a quick sightseeing trip of Chicago.
Disliked: By a busy steeet so quite loud but that is to be expected downtown Chicago.
