Fantasic location, great staff and...

Liked: Great location, very clean, and quirky entrance behind a faux book case. The staff were very helpful and friendly.I’d be happy to stay here again and I’d be happy to recommend to my friends, those who fit enough to be ok with steep stairs.The property was as described and any criticism was down to choices that I made when booking.
Disliked: We had chosen the room with no view thinking about noise from the Bastille, but if I stay again I’d pay the extra for the view. The sound proofing was great and the no view room had a dismal outlook. Breakfast was not a strong point but it was adequate .

A hotel I'd recommend in...

Liked: The staff there are very kind and friendly. The location was perfect, right in front of the metro station and at the entrance to the restaurant district.
Disliked: watch your step as the stairs leading up to the room are a bit uneven.

Fabulous small hotel

Liked: Our room was spotlessly clean, and the view from our window over the bastille monument was spectacular. The staff were very friendly and super helpful at all times
Disliked: The long climb to the 4th floor

Liked: Location is excellent and very convenient to explore the city.Cleanliness and room condition were excellent.The view from the 5th floor was perfect, noise from the street during Friday/Saturday evening was minimal.
Disliked: Room was rather small making it difficult to navigate at times. However this was well communicated before hand and is something rather common in central Paris at this price level.Absence of elevator can make arrival and departure with heavy luggage a challenge, especially if you are located on the top floors . Stuff is eager to help, however this remains an issue that needs to be mentioned as a disadvantage.Entrance to the hotel during afterhours (2:00 am or later) is not possible with the available hotel key. You have to knock until the duty receptionist can notice you to grant you access. Surely a better arrangement can be made in 2024.

Liked: Great boutique hotel in a fantastic location. Literally right outside Bastille metro. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast has all you need. We loved the opening bookcase to the staircase and the stairs kept us fit!Would definately stay here again. Thank you.

Perfect location and great value...

Liked: Great location! I could walk almost everywhere. Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff.
Disliked: The view from my room but having said that I didn’t even opened the window. So, not a big deal.
