Liked: We come every year for our family reunion.
Disliked: I paid for 2 rooms and would have liked for them to be connected. I called in advance to have them connected but they were not.

Liked: The location and grounds are pretty. The game room looked decent but we didn’t end up using it.
Disliked: Check-in is from 4:00. We arrived AFTER 5:00 pm, but were initially told that our room might not be ready yet because they had some staffing issues. When I expressed surprise, the woman at the front desk actually tried to tell me that check in from 4 pm doesn’t necessarily mean that a room will be ready by 4:00 or any time in particular, regardless of my reservation. Never heard such nonsense before. Another staff had to step in and find us an available room before she dug the hole any deeper. The restaurant/cafe food was overpriced and not very tasty. The occupants in the room next to ours was having a domestic disturbance loud enough to hear clearly in the hall. For such an expensive place it just wasn’t up to par.

Very disappointing anniversary trip...

Liked: I liked the pool, hot tub, sauna and the lake.
Disliked: I didn't like the way we were made to feel unwelcome at the restaurants. They seemed to worry more about certain tables then us. Very disappointing considering it was our 12 year wedding anniversary. My wife wanted suggestions to order a drink and that seemed like it was a bother to even ask, then ended up just ordering a soda that she didn't get for 25 mins after I already got my drink. Waiter just didn't seem interested in taking care of us. My wife was very let down with our stay after that because of how we were treated... rooms were not that good either, our back door was broken and couldn't use it and wasn't even offered to fix it or get a new room, wallpaper was peeling off the walls and just didn't feel clean.

Disliked: The staff. I was locked out of my room because they changed the locks before check out. I was charged the room twice by mistake but they did not solve the problem immediately. I had to wait for the double charge to be resolved.
