Good location for the hospital

Liked: Stayed the night before an operation. It’s got good character and the staff we’re all lovely.

Very good

Liked: Lovely setting, staff very helpful and pleasant. Room was very nicely decorated and modern which we didn’t expect after arriving at the hotel. Overall a nice hotel and stay.
Disliked: We arrived early so sat outside with a drink while waiting for the room to be ready. It looks fairly run down from the outside, decking warped and dirty, it could be lovely with some nice chairs and tables etc. shame as the setting is great and quiet. A lick of paint inside the hallways would make the first impressions much better. Pillows need changing.

Liked: Everything except below. Also I had asked for down or feather pullows but didnt get them.
Disliked: Unfortunately the food was unexceptional. I had a lemon tart for pudding and it was dry and felt shop bought. I found the sauce on the sea bass a bit claggy. The potato was hard. I had expected the food to be as good as the rest of the experience but felt it was a bit like something you'd get in a not so good pub.

Liked: Room comfortable. Staff helpful and cheery
Disliked: somewhere to hang towels. No need to change them every day. Think of the planet

An Excellent find!!

Liked: Location and staff. Breakfast was also excellent
Disliked: Took the wrong order for dinner, meaning a wait. Then found out that the original option was no longer available. Things were rectified, apologies offered and no charge levied for the course involved, so at least that was another example of great customer service

Liked: Luxurious and relaxing. The bed was amazing. The food in the restaurant was superb.

Liked: Lovely location and the interior was lovely too
Disliked: It’s on the pathway to Manchester airport so loud planes going overhead every 5minutes Went for breakfast on the first morning and got a full English,there was something wrong with the beans as they were sour and after I’d already took a mouthful I mentioned it to the lady tending the tables She came across after and said they were taking the beans off the menu for the rest of the day as there is something wrong with them

Had a fantastic stay will...

Liked: I liked the room itself, clean and spacious.
Disliked: My lamb burger was really nice but the pizza was not fresh, expected more from a 5 star hotel.
