Oceanside Inn & Suites a Days Inn by Wyndham

I have always love staying...

Liked: It is an awesome location.
Disliked: Check-in lady was downright unfriendly. I had a broken hair dryer asked on my first morning if it could be replaced or repaired, asked to get on the second morning of my stay if it could be repaired. By the third day I gave up on that.My floor was filthy. I asked on the first morning if someone could come in and do a quick mop, I asked him a second morning if someone could come in and do a quick mop and on the third morning I gave up.

Liked: Room was exactly what we booked and needed.
Disliked: Receptionist was rude, short and extremely unhelpful. We also requested (and the request was accepted via email) early check in. She said it wasn't ready and to come back at normal check in. Didn't apologize or even try to validate our request from a month ago.

Bad

Liked: The bed was large.
Disliked: The room was disgusting and had clearly not been cleaned for weeks. Our feet were black after walking around on the floor. Towels were stained, door handle falling off, and the fridge froze all our items overnight and was leaking water right next to an old looking power board (very unsafe). When staff were informed of the cleanliness issues all they said was that they would “talk to housekeeping” and no offer of a partial refund or apologies. Would not stay again.

Liked: - room too cold with no thermostat under my control- no additional blanket in closet. slept clothed. automated booking response invited all requests for assistance, but i had no desire for further contact with front desk staff. - electrical outlet positioning made CPAP usage complicated- discourteous front desk staff on personal phone call during entire check-in process, bordering on hostile- exterior door of room functioned poorly, but could be opened and locked- refrigerator noisy, so i unplugged it and that caused a puddle- inadequate curtains made darkness impossible- wasted lots of water waiting for hot water in sink and shower

Liked: Customer service was very short and almost non-existent. There was a very pungent smell of bug spray, which was different from the outdoor ocean smell. We did not have enough towels available. When asked for more towels, we were notified of a fee. Would not recommend. especially after a 12 hour drive.
