Ocean Reef Resort

Disappointed.

Liked: My kids loved the pool. The hotel smelled nice as soon as you walked in and as you walk up to your room.
Disliked: My actual room was not up to standards. The TV in the second bedroom did not work so my kids had to come in the room with me and my spouse just to watch tv before it was time for bed. The lights in the master bathroom kept flickering. The sheets were ripped. The chairs on both sides of the balcony were super dirty. I usually put my kids bathing suits out to air dry but the chairs were filthy. The refrigerator was rusted really bad and the kitchen smelled like dog. I was not comfortable at all and I was glad to only had booked for one night. My room was horrible.

Our stay was very nice

Liked: Our room was very nice and clean. The staff was very nice and friendly.
Disliked: I asked for more towels never received them. Also, the housekeeper was supposed to come back to clean our room but never came back. She came like 8am and said she would be back.

A waste or our time...

Disliked: I have used this location 5 times and this was the worst time ever. It took 3.5 hours to get into the room at bedtime the door would not lock for the screws coming out. It was reported the next morning. Returning to room that evening the door had locked us out no pass key would work. Maintenance tried to open door four times before breaking it in this took 2 hours while my disabled wife sat in the lobby cold. I ask to talk with manager but she was not available and was to be back at 8:00the next morning with just happened to be her off day. How convenient was that no manager for two days. This will be the last time I stay with Ocean Reef Resort.
