Liked: The location was right across A1A from the beach. Plenty of parking. Plenty of local stores, shops and facilities close by and within walking distance. The pool was nice, there were plenty of tables, chairs and umbrellas. The size of the room was decent, and accommodated 4 people nicely. The kitchenette was useful and had a full-size refrigerator. There was a walk-in type closet right between the main room and the bathroom with shelves, closet bars, and a table against the far wall. You can smoke or vape anywhere on the property except in your room, which is rare but very convenient. Very quiet at night after hours, ac and ceiling fan did a nice job keeping the room cool and refreshing. If you are not planning on spending a lot of time in your room and only cook a few times, it's perfect. The staff was very friendly. Just an fyi, there is no daily room service like in other 4 and 5 star hotels, so you clean up your own mess just like you would at home. Would definitely stay here again.
Disliked: Upon arriving, when we first checked in, we had to tell the gentlman on duty at the front desk that our kitchen window was cracked, so we didn't get blamed for that. Upon further inspection, it did not lock either, so we did not leave any valuables in the room while we were away. The beds served their purpose, but depending on what type of sleeper you are or what type of mattress you are used to will depend on how comfortable you sleep. I can sleep on a log in the forest, so for me it doesnt matter, but my wife was having trouble with her hips and back after the 3rd night because it was not like our bed at home. We had a family of 4, but only towel sets for 2 people were left in the room for us. No problem, we asked for more and were given plenty. The room was outdated but nostalgic, so it does need a little sprucing up. A light dusting from time to time would help as well. The floors were nottt very clean but not filthy either. We could not turn on the ceiling fan light as the pull chain was missing, but there were plenty of other wall lights and lamps to use. Some of the kitchen light bulbs were burned out. No tub, shower stall only, and needs a longer more waterproof shower curtain as we had to keep a towel on the floor in front of it to keep water from hitting the floor while taking a shower. Galley type kitchen. Counter top stove only, no oven and main largest burner did not work. There was hardly any counter space, so cooking is a bit of a juggling act.The refrigerator was a little worn out cosmetically but did do the job. Could use some more utensils, dinnerware, and cookware. Very limited supply, so if you are planning to cook for more than 2, you will need additional forks, knives, spoons, bowls, plates, etc. We went to the local Walmart close by and got some cheap paper plates and bowls and plastic utensils.
