Very good

Good basic accommodation.

Liked: Good basic accommodation. Bathroom very clean. Excellent shower.
Disliked: No elevator and steep stairs makes it difficult if one has luggage.

Great location.

Liked: The location was excellent and it was one of the cheapest available accommodation for the dates we needed however it was a bit expensive . The private room was a good size and there were plenty of shared bathrooms. The laundry available was very helpful as was the luggage storage.
Disliked: It really is v dated and couldn’t do with a freshen up. It is on a street with a few homeless people and addicts but they weren’t directly an issue. The person on reception could have been friendlier and needed reminding to return our deposit for the towels. It was later discovered we had only been refunded for one not 2 towels but she did correct this when we went back and gave us the extra $10.

Victoria great location

Liked: Excellent location just a short walk to Victoria harbour, Chinatown, all the main sites. Helpful, friendly staff, well organised, safe hostel. Breakfast, veggie dinner and 1 drink from the bar included, all good.
Disliked: Parking in a nearby multi-storey, 15 CAD p/d, not on site. A lot of homeless and drug users in the nearby streets.

Disliked: All the hostel has a strong smell of pee because of the washrooms , please avoid to stay here

Liked: Downtown location. Complementary beverage & meals, chill room, well organized facilities, great social spaces, available parking
Disliked: - Lack of attention & accommodation for people with mobility & other disability needs with designated rooms or beds as requested on Booking message but not followed up- sigbage for other bathrooms available to guests at landing on upper floors
