Superb

Pleasantly surprised

Liked: Very pleasantly surprised, was a bit worried about it being a pub as some reviews mentioned the noise. We arrived about 10pm and went for nightcap drink in the pub and had chat with some locals. Rooms were very clean and modern and the beds were amazingly comfy. Was able to get a park outside as we were lugging in 4 suitcases. 12 - 15 mins from airport
Disliked: Restaurant was closed

Exceptional

Liked: Great sized room with comfy bed and nice bathroom. Great bar downstairs. Good place to stay for flight the next morning.
Disliked: Nothing

Lack of sleep.

Disliked: Incredibly loud customers from the bar outside the building from 11:30pm - 2am. Hardly any sleep from the commotion. When the customers are in the bar it’s not to bad, but clearly they were allowed to continue outside, there was also police, so assume something happened but it went on for hours. I got about 2 hours sleep.

Passable

Liked: The room was bright and airy with all the facilities I needed.
Disliked: There were two young women on reception for dining room. One of them, who appeared to be the senior of the two, was very friendly and helpful. She carried my case up to the first floor. When I wanted to have an evening meal, the other girl said the dining room was very busy and she didn't think they would be able to accommodate me. She said there were people in the bar (who, presumably, might want to eat) so, basically, no room. I asked if there was anywhere local where I could get an evening meal but she didn't know because, she said, she didn't live in the immediate area. However, when the senior girl returned to her post, she found me a table straight away and, in fact, there were several empty spaces for the rest of serving time. My bed was comfortable but the duvet, for me, was too heavy so that I was either too hot or too cold if I flung it off.I didn't have much success with the shower because it went from boiling hot to cold whatever I set the control to. When it was turning to very hot, I could hear the shower revving up and then, when the revving stopped, the water turned cold again. The interval between unbearably hot and then cold was very short, so it took ages to finish rinsing off. The hotel has a 'beer garden'. I didn't realise this until, eventually, I got up to see where all the noise was coming from. I imagined at first that it was from the street until I saw, from one window, that it was from the garden. The noise continued until about 11.30pm after which it was quiet.

Superb

Liked: The room was clean and spacious. Noise from the pub was minimal. There’s a bus stop nearby with buses to the city and the airport.
Disliked: The restaurant wasn’t open when we visited.

Liked: Food was good value and large portion, room clean. Great shower.

Liked: Nice clean room, easy check in. Convenient for the airport
