Dispointing "Jewel"

Liked: Good location.
Disliked: Hotel was a bit rundown and did not live up to their self proclamation of "The jewel in Surrey’s Crown" the shower was bad, the dustbin in the bathroom was broken, stains on the carpet, door closer in the second room was broken and had to be slammed to close. No mini bar fridge (which we would expect in a 4* hotel). But the worst was we spent 5 nights there (two rooms) and still had to pay for checking out 2 hours late!

Great hotel, but reception staff...

Liked: Beautiful building and a lovely hotel. The grounds were well looked after. Rooms were large and comfortable
Disliked: Lady on reception refused to give me an invoice at checkout as she said she couldn’t. I had to go through customer services via email to get it. Ridiculous and never happened before . I’m staying in hotels with work most weeks

Liked: Beautiful hotel. We are most definitely coming back very soon. Staff were lovely, breakfast was good with a good amount of options. The room we had was very comfortable an spacious.
Disliked: Nothing not to like.
