Disappointing

Disliked: The Inn is right on a busy main street with lots of traffic noise, the room reeked of lysol, not a nice place. For almost $300 a night, I would hope to get much better.

Low Key Gem.

Liked: The motel was very quiet and well located for shopping, dining, and sightseeing. It is located in a neighborhood with good bus service and superior walkability. Decor was fresh and well done. Tv, bathroom, coffe/fridge/microwave were effective and convenient to use. Very comfy bed and very spacious room considering the rock bottom price we paid.
Disliked: Considering the price and the wide range of amenities available within a few hundred feet, I can’t think of anything to complain about.

A clean, comfortable, and attractive...

Liked: An attractive, clean, and comfortable room. No breakfast bar; however, just across the street is Renaud's, an upscale café that serves a great breakfast. Also across the street is Chaucer's, a fabulous independent bookstore, and Gelson's, a supermarket. On a main street, but we weren't bothered by traffic noise. The location is good for easy access (by car) to downtown Santa Barbara, the coastline, nearby shopping centers, and the freeway (Highway 101).

Clean and quiet for a...

Liked: Room size was good, bathroom was big, had a fridge and microwave.
Disliked: The bed was too soft and none of the pillows were good. Parking was difficult. Would have been nice if there was breakfast

Liked: The property is well kept, the staff was friendly, it was a good location and the rooms were clean.
Disliked: The pool wasn't heated.

The horrible noise at night...

Disliked: There was horrible banging noise at night which disrupted our sleep many times.
