Liked: Overall this was a great place for the value of the stay. Two blocks away from Fremont Street, 24 hour access to games, staff were very friendly and accompanying.
Disliked: Only thing, was being so close to Fremont that there were no parking for their guests because other people were parked in the designated spots to go to Fremont. No parking attendant to unsure that there would be.

Liked: EVERYTHING IS AMAZING! I am a wheelchair user, so large casinos full of banks of slot machines and endless expanses of carpet really mess with my day. This is exactly what I look for in a hotel. I stated in the golden spike's tower section, and although they didnt have a 100% ada-room available due to my late night resernation, they had a beautiful, roomy, non-carpeted room available and it was BEAUTIFUL and spacious. I rolled around every inch of the room with ease and only needed my husband's assiatance with getting in and out of the tub and a few feet inside the bathroom door as the doorway was slightly too small for my chair. The room sparkled clean and had beautiful artwork on the walls, crisp white bedding, and plenty of hooks to hang clothes instead of putting them all in closets.Accommodations were superb, and the casino is a small area downstairs compared to the bar and pooltables section, which allows for more fun with friends and bonding. There is an amazingly cool area outside with a smoking patio and giant games area with everything from cornhole to giant chess and Jenga it is truly a beautiful vintage place to stay. The pool tables made me the most happy - I could play pool with my conpanions and had plenty of room to wheel around the entire table. I loved it!I officially told my brother and sister in law that when we go to Vegas to Fremont Street to see concerts, they can stay at their favorite Fremont Street hotels, I will stay at the Oasis at Gold spike. This IS exactly the place THIS wheelchair user who is allergic to sun, who needs no giant resort amenities aside from places to be in the night hours and a pool for my husband and friends to be in (their pool area is intimate and not crowded and lovely) needed to be this weekend and every time in Vegas forever.YES I said it, THIS WHEELCHAIR USER WILL FOREVER STAY AT OASIS at GOLD SPIKE - I have honestly never been so happy in Vegas as I was these past 4 days.
Disliked: Priceline screwed up my reservation for a small hotel with an ADA-accessible room and not a lot of space to travel through crowded casinos by putting me in The Strat in a non-Ada room and massive resort I wanted to cry- I did cry. Then I called Booking.com, explained what I needed, and at the last minute, as my husband's flight was landing, Booking.com found me Oasis at Gold Spike! I have never been so happy with a hotel in Las Vegas in my life! Seriously, Oasis at Gold Spike saved my trip, and I can't thank the staff there enough for being so amazing, friendly, and helpful from checkin to checkout. I have no complaints about Oasis.......if you want a review on my Priceline experience with the Strat that was quite negative..........OASIS at GOLD SPIKE was my 100% positive experience that saved the day when it started so horrobly at The Strat
