Beautiful location, welcoming staff, maintenance...

Liked: Beautiful location, beautiful property. The hotel is very dog friendly. Trying to get on the elevator and there were often people with three or four dogs already on the elevator. I was not aware of how dog friendly it was when we booked. For the cost, the location can’t be beat. The facilities definitely need upkeep.
Disliked: We had to move rooms twice. The air conditioning didn’t work, and the toilet did not work, on Fourth of July weekend, which is a very busy weekend. The buffet breakfast was awful. Nobody came to take our order. Or give us coffee refills. Probably would’ve been easier if they would’ve just had coffee out instead of needing a server to bring it to you.

Disliked: I think the morning breakfast situation could be fine tuned. Pre-ordered your breakfast to pick up at a specific time. Great idea however there was a huge line because they waited until the people picked up to make their specialized coffee drinks. maybe have a separate window open for people who want more than just coffee. They have their more specialized drinks made.

Liked: We liked the area the hotel is in. Everything was very clean and well kept. It was very quiet and relaxing.
Disliked: We found it odd that the coffee bar closes at 3 pm which is the same time as check in.

Liked: Gorgeous setting, beautiful flowers, delicious breakfasts, organized delivery of food.Friendly helpful staff, high quality service overall
Disliked: We used to have access to free kayaks on property. Not available now. Toilets need to be much higher and Need grab bars next to commodes & in bathtub to assist older guests.A few places need new coat of paint on woodwork. Additional wait staff would have been nice for our large group dinner
