Disliked: We were not told that the hotel was being renovated and would not have booked this hotel if we had known. There was no reduction in price to reflect this huge inconvenience. We had to enter/exit the hotel up a very steep driveway. The steepness of the driveway entrance was a real issue to people in our group. We had to roll our lugguage up and down the driveway with no support being offered. There was no alternative. The advertised hotel shuttle to the local town was not available as it was a Saturday and we were informed that this was the driver's day off. The hotel staff tried to book a series of taxis, but as it was Saturday night, this was a difficult process. We were not offered a lounge to wait in, due to the renovations. Our rooms appeared to be new but the showers leaked all over the floor of the bathroom. The heated towel rail in one room was not working. The hotel employees were pleasant but not particularly strong at problem-solving.

Disliked: * Room service- very limited cleaning of rooms, bare minimum only.* Digital entertainment - only offered a limited number of stations and asked customers to connect to our own entertainment on our mobile to their tv which did not work. We reported this but it did not get fixed until the last night.* Renovations- we were told that we would not be inconvenienced by the renovations however in order to exit or enter the building we had to walk up a steep ramp each time/day due to the renovations. This was very difficult in itself let alone for someone with foot problems. * Renovations - restaurant was not available due to the renovations so we had to either go into town for dinner or go to another resort which was also an inconvenience.
