Liked: Location was walking distance to the beach
Disliked: The balcony isn't ideal for small kids who could crawl under the bottom bar

Overwhelming and delightful

Liked: The main highlight was the room views and the comfort factor. The fixtures and fittings are plush and the timber trimmings and linings bring warmth to the room.
Disliked: I restaurant with room services would be great for business! Not sure if there is space but it would be worth considering

Disappointing

Disliked: I booked a twin room . I contacted the property several days ahead of the booking to confirm separate beds - that was confirmed, I contacted the property again one day before the booking - I got quite a terse response confirming separate beds. Yet when we arrived, our room had to be re-made as they had not set it up for seperate beds. The communication from reception staff was really poor and disinterested both on arrival and departure. The TV remotes did not work properly and the smart TV could not connect to in-house internet, so no streaming channels available. All first world problems but not what you expect from an Oaks property.

Liked: We loved the balcony and space of the room. The location was perfect right next to the trams and beach.
Disliked: Kitchen appliances were not great to cook with and fan didn’t go.

Disliked: Parking was difficult to check in. the fact you have to pay for parking should be advised. only food deliveries available.
