Perfect location with perfect hosts.
Liked: The Oakcliff is a beautiful building that is furnished impeccably. John and Pam are the perfect hosts and made me feel welcomed as a friend rather than a guest. They were always happy to help with suggestions for places to visit, eateries and even travel around the area.As I was visiting over Fathers Day, I was even privileged to meet their family and be invited to join them in the fabulous garden. In my opinion, the best place I have ever stayed and I will be returning!
Disliked: There is literally nothing to dislike about the hotel!

A Fantastic place to rest...
Liked: This is a hidden gem of The Capital District! Great location - a quick drive to everywhere we needed to go! The owners are incredible! They put so much love and care into this house and into the experiences of their guests! An antique lover’s dream with all modern conveniences! Super clean and quiet. The breakfast is magnificent!!! Everything homemade with tremendous love and care! And they serve use proper china & place settings!
Disliked: There was nothing we didn’t like. We travel a lot and this is truly one of the best stays we’ve had. We hope to stay here again.

Stunning colonial home on the...
Liked: A beautifully restored colonial property filled with antiques and beautiful paintingsThe hosts were very friendly, but not intrusive and, quite rightly, proud of their home.I believe there are just 3 or 4 letting rooms all sympathetically decorated in keeping with the age of the property. It was our first B&B and we enjoyed good conversation at breakfast with our fellow guests and Farm Aid 2024 goers. We were offered a lovely choice for breakfast, served at a beautifully set table. Liked: The house was so beautiful! The view was amazing and the inn keepers were very nice! Breakfast was great as well.
Disliked: There was no TV in the room, but we used the wifi and brought a laptop for a nighttime movie. (So it really wasn't a big deal)

Historical Experience.
Liked: It is a magnificent historical property full of antiques and on lovely grounds overlooking the river. The hosts are lovely. The breakfast is delicious and classy.
Disliked: No television (which is somewhat understandable in a property of this type).
