Why Concert-goers love it

Oakcliff is just a quick drive (about 20–25 minutes) from Albany’s top live music venues, including the MVP Arena and The Egg. After the show, escape the city bustle for a restful night in scenic Waterford. Guests love the quiet setting, making it a perfect post-concert wind-down spot. Food and Drink Options

While there’s no on-site restaurant for dinner, nearby Waterford and Halfmoon offer charming local spots, and room amenities include a coffee machine for that essential morning brew. Guests often dine before heading back for a quiet night.

Nightlife Options

While Oakcliff itself is more serene than scene, you’re just a short drive from Albany’s buzzing nightlife—bars, lounges, and late-night eateries abound. Or, if you prefer to keep things mellow, the sun terrace and riverside setting offer the ideal backdrop for a nightcap under the stars.

What People Say

Guests rave about the peaceful atmosphere, spotless rooms, and friendly hosts. Many highlight the beautiful views, cozy bed linens, and the relaxing hot tub as standout features. The location strikes a nice balance—close enough to Albany for easy access, yet far enough for a restful stay.

Stunning colonial home on the...

Liked: A beautifully restored colonial property filled with antiques and beautiful paintingsThe hosts were very friendly, but not intrusive and, quite rightly, proud of their home.I believe there are just 3 or 4 letting rooms all sympathetically decorated in keeping with the age of the property. It was our first B&B and we enjoyed good conversation at breakfast with our fellow guests and Farm Aid 2024 goers. We were offered a lovely choice for breakfast, served at a beautifully set table. John's pancakes 🥞 were just perfect on Sunday morning. Gorgeous views of the Mohawk River from our bedroom window.Great location for visiting Saratoga Performing Arts Centre which was about 20 minutes drive away.

Disliked: There was no TV in the room, but we used the wifi and brought a laptop for a nighttime movie. (So it really wasn't a big deal)
