Liked: A great find! Beautiful unit on acreage, such a comfortable bedroom! Great shower and good facilities. Quiet location, very relaxing. Beautiful garden and friendly owner. Exceptional value.

Wonderful!

Liked: Oak Lodge was a large family home that was made into a B and B in the 1920’s . The grounds were beautiful and bird filled with a lovely garden that surrounds the house. The delicious hot breakfast that the host Robin made for us was worth the stay alone. We had a lounge area on the top floor that was nice and cozy with tea, coffee and biscuits! Oak Lodge was a short drive into Greymouth. I would stay there again if ever I would be blessed to visit New Zealand again.

Beautiful home, Outstanding Host!

Liked: Great stop on our drive through South Island! Robin is an outstanding host, wanted nothing more than to make sure our trip was fantastic in NZ, gave us priceless recommendations. We drove a bit willy nilly on our trip, finding places to stay as we went. He spent time chatting with us and we followed his advice on the next 2 nights that led us to amazing stops at FableTerraceDowns and the Hermitage- thanks for your hospitality and concern for our trip experience! Robin has a splendid, peaceful house where we stayed and enjoyed his company, advice and personal cooking for breakfast. I hope we meet again! Cheers, Andy & Patty
