Great location

Liked: Great stay. Friendly staff, very helpful. Room was clean, fresh bedding & towels. Bathroom clean, tea/coffee facilities were provided. Centre of town, so very handy when you're coming back after a few drinks. Will stay again
Disliked: There was no pillow cases on 2 of the pillows. I didn't realise until it was time to go bed. Tea spoon had forgotten to be left out.

Liked: Location was great , beds comfy. Place has so much potential. Room was warm . Didn't feel very well welcomed or thanked for staying ...a thanks or cheerio would have been nice . Need new pool cues and darts and the dirty glasses shouldn't be there all day into the next day in the bar. Shower in room 11 is freezing but didn't feel like complaining as is what it is . Would stay again ...just cheer up a bit guys .
Disliked: Not very friendly...lady was nice don't know their names as wasn't introduced .

Liked: Staff very friendly and location was great, about 4 min walk to the beach.
Disliked: room could be spruced up a bit more, like cleaner windows, ceiling tile slightly hanging down and leaking water pipe under the sink, the little bits and touches really.

Great location, overall good stay

Liked: The host was welcoming and the property was locked at all times so I felt confident no one could just walk in. The location was excellent and it was only a 7 minute walk to Coral Island. The beds were comfy.
Disliked: There wasn’t a charger near the bed so it’s best to bring a long charger if needed, but the beds were on wheels so I moved the bed to the charger (think smarter not harder!). There was no soap in the bathroom so bring your own and it could’ve been a bit cleaner but for the price I can’t really complain :)

Dassapointed

Disliked: Paid for 2 double rooms, we went up to our rooms and they were two twin rooms. Went downstairs to reception to be told they would send someone in to push the beds together. This would not have bothered me if twin and double rooms were the same rate, however I paid extra for double rooms. I could have booked the twin rooms and pushed the beds together myself without the extra 30 pounds. Secondly there were a pair of what I can only describe as kinky gloves in the room, and sequins on the bathroom floor, previous occupants clearly had a good time, but how was this missed when cleaning? Thirdly, I asked the man at reception for advice on parking. Fair enough, he didn't know the answer, but it was how he responded. Customer service is lacking. The above reasons are why I didn't go and tackle my issues with reception, I was on holiday and did not want to be made to feel like I was causing problems. Yes the hotel is quite cheap, but I wouldn't say value for money. The least I expect for my money is a clean room, and the rooms I paid for, and for people working in this industry... Good customer service should come for free. Very tired old looking building which I would have set aside if I didn't have any other issues. Breakfast was OK but I'd reccomend going down the wetherspoons round the corner, you get much more for your money, literally one of everything on your plate. I wouldn't recommend there are probably cheaper places with friendlier staff.
