Disappointing and poor value for...

Liked: On paper it looked perfect for my needs. Initially I was given a room downstairs with a view of a hedge, as my stay was foe three nights I enquired about an upstairs room that would have a view from the window. The man at the desk kindly did some shuffling around of people and made that happen, much appreciated. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Room had everything I needed but was rather worn. Whilst the location was perfect proximity for my work needs the proximity to the A5 made sleep a challenge. Being summer there was no choice other than to have the window open so had the thundering A5 traffic until around midnight and then when they all got going again around daybreak.I didn't rate the food, the fish (it said cod on the menu, £19.95!) was over cooked as were the chips. As a result I ate elsewhere inc. breakfast even though I'd paid for it already.
