Modern Hotel in Ulm

Liked: Modern boutique hotel in Ulm. Very modern, funky & fun decor and comfortable public spaces. Room was small, but had everything you need for a stay, including a small desk for working. Bathroom was great, with a walk-in shower that had a place to put soap/shampoo (I always appreciate this!) and towel heater. Beds were very soft (I prefer soft beds) and really comfortable. Breakfast was really good, with a hot selection (eggs/bacon) and a lot of other choices (meats/cheeses, fruit, cereal, veg, etc.). Only think I missed was good decaf coffee (but they had Karo & a selection of teas). Staff was very friendly! Elevator building. About 10 mins. walk from public transport (bus/tram). I'd definitely stay again.
Disliked: Lighting is odd for the bathroom mirror - not great for putting on make-up. Not enough parking. I had to park somewhat illegally as I came later at night and there were no parking spots in the vicinity. The hotel has 8 spots and doesn't take reservations, so it's difficult if arriving later in the evening. On-street parking is possible, but a gamble.
