Convenient

Liked: They are located in a very central area.
Disliked: First night I couldn’t sleep because they have in front of the binding a trucks company that runs all night I believe. Their windows doesn’t protect outside nosy. However, next day I requested to change the room and they kindly make it happen. It was great!

Liked: The room was ok
Disliked: The location is deserted and very strange, and going out at night was a bit scary, especially if you were alone. The staff were not friendly

Nice and artsy rooms with...

Liked: Close to some local stores and subway lines (5 min. walking distance).Very friendly staff. Very charming building. 24h front desk. Equiped kitchen and fridge in the basement.
Disliked: Noisy garage on the opposite side of the building.

Liked: The "affordable" price. The prices of other structures in NY are out of mind. They stored my luggage till the afternoon.
Disliked: A little bit run down. The lockers do not have a lock, didn't have one with me.

Liked: This is my first time finding a hostel with no bunk beds, which is more convenient for me. It's only 6 minutes' walk to two metro stations (Morgan Av) and (Montrose Av), I recommend using Montrose subway Station because it's on the main street (Bushwick st) and it's more safe to walk through, but if you come from Morgan Av Station, you will be walking through side streets full of truck garages and maybe not safe at the evening. The reception guys are so helpful, the hostel offers free tea & coffee, it also offers free towels. The beds are comfortable, and heaters work well. The smell of the liquid soap is really nice :) The vibes of the place are really nice, I already made another booking as I will get back to NY for two days, and I chose them without any hesitation:)
Disliked: Maybe the white sheets need to be cleaned properly.
