Superb

Not good value for money.

Liked: The location and the amenities in the top.
Disliked: We had a small sized room with a Panoramic window which was not clean and surrounded by spider webs.We stayed mid June for a wedding and it was a relatively warm summer, so you’d expect the window would have been cleaned prior to checking guests in.Paid £280 for a really boxy room with a filthy window.

A great place for a...

Liked: All the staff were lovely. They really pay a lot of attention to guests and their dogs. Shout out to Norbert Jose Florin Abdul and Elisa on the front desk. There were some really nice younger girls working there but without name badges so they are at a disadvantage as we can’t name them in this review. Make sure all staff have name badges management! Beds and pillows were super comfortable and there was a turn down sevice. Spa had good treatments and dogs also allowed into the cafe bar area which was a plus. Staff dealt with any issues very quickly -see below.Cocktails in bar and food all very good
Disliked: Air conditioning in room 18 was a bit too noisy - needs a check over. Music from 9.30 Blast class ruined the calm facial and massages we had booked - way too loud but after raising this, compensation was offered quickly. Need a few cheaper options on the wine list. Not allowing dogs into the restaurant does cause a few issues if you have a dog and creates a lot more work for staff having to lay tables to eat elsewhere or outside. Was fine for us as this was the summer and we could go outside but there are limited tables for eating from outside the restaurant. Could an area inside the restaurant be cordoned off for those families with dogs?

Liked: Stunning property with super friendly staff and comfortable and very clean rooms. Superb views from the hotel grounds.
Disliked: Over-priced for what it is. The spa is fine but typical health club so more functional than anything else.

Exceptional

Liked: Lovely building and surrounding area, so relaxing. The spa was a good way to unwind on arrival. The outdoor terrace has an amazing outlook and was a great place for a drink. The staff were all very attentive and helpful.
