A Nice Compact Boutique Hotel
Liked: It’s a nice hotel in an excellent location near the Museums (V&A, Natural History), Albert Hall, Kensington House, etc. it’s on the Circle/District/Piccadilly lines with good connection to Heathrow/Central London and even Wimbledon. It has really nice staff who went the extra mile and was nice and quiet. The staff were on hand and made us tea when we wanted it. The bar is a honesty bar.The lounges had nice sofas. They did supply a gluten free (coeliac) breakfast.
Disliked: The rooms sizes are adequate and very nicely furnished but not massive. It is London and it is much better than many I’ve stayed in so I was happy. If you have mobility issues do tell them. We had a beautiful marble bathroom with double sink but it was down 2 quite steep steps. I could envisage it being an issue for people my parents age. I’m 60’s and it was fine for me but a surprise. They said they try not to give these to people who have mobility issues.

Pleasant
Liked: We recently stayed at a hotel which is a charming “boutique hotel” with an excellent location. The room itself was spacious, as was the bathroom, which we greatly appreciated.
Disliked: Despite booking several weeks in advance and paying a premium price, our experience did have a notable downside. We arrived at 9 AM for check-in and when we returned at 3 PM, the room assigned to us was on the ground floor at sidewalk level. This position compromised our privacy significantly, requiring us to keep the curtains closed throughout our stay. While the hotel has many strengths, this aspect of our visit was quite disappointing.
