With free on-street parking and a 2-minute walk to the nearest train station, it’s a refined yet convenient choice for those heading into town for gigs and festivals.

The hotel’s peaceful setting gives you a welcome break from the crowds, ideal for recharging after a high-energy night. Check-in starts at 3:00 PM, and with check-out at 11:00 AM, there’s time for a slow start the next day.

Food and Drink Options

The hotel’s Dining Room offers a fine dining menu, while the bar serves a range of casual meals and snacks—perfect for a post-show bite. Nightlife Options

Whether you're off to a show at the OVO Hydro or exploring the local pub scene, you're well connected. Afterward, enjoy a nightcap in the hotel’s cozy bar or unwind on the wooden deck and garden gazebo.

What People Say

Guests consistently praise the hotel’s charming atmosphere, friendly staff, and peaceful setting. Many love the proximity to public transport and the unique character of the rooms. The free parking is also a popular bonus, especially for those driving in from out of town.

Areas for Improvement

Nice little hotel, that you'd...

Liked: Great location and facilities. Was there twice lately for hospital visits.Staff really helpful and pleasant.Restaurant had a fantastic menu with huge portions. And great gluten free options available.Hopefully can return on a more leisurely basis, to enjoy the lovely beer garden facilities that they have.
Disliked: Being there following surgery I was concerned about the white sheets on the bed (hadn't thought about it, if im honest) and I did mention my concerns to staff to be told they didn't have darker sheets and anything soiled I'd be charged for. Luckly it wasn't an issue but just a heads up to anyone staying following a hospital visit.

Comfortable, blackout blinds, nice hot...

Liked: I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The room was thoughtfully decorated with a cosy, welcoming feel. Blackout curtains were a great touch — really helped with a good night’s sleep — and the bed itself was very comfortable. Small details like the soft-close toilet seat and a lovely selection of biscuits on the coffee tray made it feel that bit more homely.
Disliked: There were a few downsides worth mentioning. The television was very small, which felt a bit outdated, and the toilet paper was quite cheap — not really in line with the otherwise nice room finish. The tap water had a very odd chemical taste, almost like turps, which made it pretty much undrinkable. It would’ve been a big plus if the hotel had provided some complimentary bottled water instead. The shower curtain also needs a curved rail to pull the curtain away from the bath or maybe a glass screen. The curtain was literally clinging to you throughout the entire shower. One real bonus is the location. Street parking was easy and free, and there’s a beautiful park just across the road, perfect for a morning walk or to stretch your legs after travelling. With a couple of small improvements, this could easily be a five-star stay.

Liked: Staff, breakfast selection, service, decor
Disliked: Nothing not to like, although I couldn't quite fathom why it's more expensive for one person than when booking for two

A great find - will...

Liked: Only a short walk from Crosshill Station, this was so easy to get to and in a great location, on the edge of Queen’s Park. The staff were welcoming and friendly and my room was quiet and immaculately presented. The bed was also extremely comfortable.
Disliked: Nothing. I will definitely be back!
