NU Hotel

Rooms were clean and loved the no carpet. Tried twice to have breakfast but the area was so packed with people there was no room to wait or navigate.

Liked: Clean rooms.
Disliked: Breakfast area small and hard to move around.

Good hotel in nice location

Liked: Close to downtown Brooklyn in a good location. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We knew there would be noise for construction and asked for a room in the back. It was quiet and we got a good night’s sleep.
Disliked: Breakfast was very meager.

Average hotel in a decent...

Liked: It's quite a hip place. Doesn't feel like a large hotel even though it has a lot of rooms. Rooms were ok. Location is very good for Brooklyn, Manhatten and Long Island.
Disliked: There is a jail being built opposite the front of the hotel. The builders are allowed to make noise from 7am. And they did. I was woken up most days because of this. Perhaps they are in a particularly noisy phase of the build but really not ideal.Breakfast was very random every day. Sometimes there was bread, sometimes not, sometimes several cereals, sometimes not, sometimes plates and knives, sometimes not, sometimes fresh fruit, sometimes prepackaged pots of fruit. It really wasn't the best. If you wanted a knife or a plate you had to ask as they were rarely aware of this (even though the breakfast room was tiny and staff were often just stood there).Vegan options very limited (fruit and bagels, but nothing labelled and staff unaware). Gluten free non existent (except fruit) although if you do ask they will buy some stuff for the following day. I tried contacting the hotel several times before arrival and never got a response.
