Liked: Very close to the Central Station, which is convenient for travel.Staff were very friendly and welcoming.Beds were comfortable and ensured a good night’s sleep.
Disliked: The area around the hotel doesn’t feel very safe, especially at night.There was no soap or shampoo in the shower.No fridge in the room.The floor-standing air conditioner/fan was very noisy.

Liked: I booked the hotel for a short trip to Hamburg with my family and it was the best decision I could ever make. All the staff is super friendly and welcoming. We arrived before the checking time but they were super kind in storing our luggage meanwhile we started exploring the city and after we checked in they offered us a welcoming drink. they always have met all our requests. In total we were 6 adults and a baby and they were also very welcoming and patience with my 1 year old niece. For sure next time I'll go back to Hamburg I'll come back!

Liked: The room was so small & limited space to place our big luggage. We could hear cars passing by & noises @ nighttime since our windows are open.
Disliked: The area is a bit sketchy & far from the station.

Good value for money but...

Liked: Staff were very accommodating in granting our request for a quite room and the room was very roomy.
Disliked: No air conditioning, other than some appliance they got from a department store and no tea or coffee making facilities. On questioning this omission, staff said this point was noted on the website listing, however, nothing mentions this on their website, which means Holiday Inn -The Niu Hotel group don't provide this facility, but three other Holiday Inns in Hamberg do, go figure.
