Lost my luggage here.This hotel...

Disliked: I lost my luggage at this hotel, but the hotel didn't offer any explanations. Instead, they kept shirking responsibility and simply told me to report it to the police. After I filed a police report, the hotel just said, "Let the police handle it." It's been two weeks now, and I still haven't received any feedback. This has been an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. It's a highly irresponsible hotel, and I also consider it an extremely unsafe place to stay.

Liked: Breakfast was a continental breakfast with a good selection, staff were excellent, hotel was very clean.
Disliked: The area is blighted by drug addicts. however we were 4 males and did not feel unsafe, having grown up in London we know the danger signs. By contrast if you venture a few 100 metres the other side of the station it is another world. In short turn right from the hotel not left. It seems as though all the problems in Hamburg have been herded into this area. But all in all it added to our expereance and wouldn't be put off from staying there again

First time in Hamburg

Liked: The location is very convenient if you arrive by bus or train, the breakfast is acceptable and the balance between price and quality is fair. Even tough the neighborhood is not the best, we didn´t feel unsecure outside when arriving to the hotel.
Disliked: The bed should be changed soon.The breakfast was ok, but the second day we wanted to seat close to the window and the waitress moved us (in a very unpolite way) to another table because we were only 2 people, while there were many other tables that were empty and there were two tables with only one person close to the window, which is really unfair. I think staff can really improve how they treat guests.

Liked: Food was fantastic, room was great , very neat and clean. Bed was very comfortable, space was very adequate for just me.
Disliked: The bath room had a small issue with the toilet, it would run on its own and leaked a little next to wall, it enough to be a problem just enough to be noticeable.

Liked: The Hotel staff is very friendly, immaculate cleanliness, decent germain breakfast, room was space enough and the closiness to the Central Stations makes all the travel very easy.
Disliked: The hotel surroundings are not very clean and safe.
